Kepulauan Seribu District Administration is an administrative districts in the Special Capital Region of Jakarta , Indonesia . Its territory includes the islands in the Bay of Jakarta . [1] ^[2]

Regents today is Drs. Irmansyah, M.Sc. Before becoming a district, the Thousand Islands region is one of the districts in the State Administration of North Jakarta . 

The county seat is located in Pramuka Island who began work as the county seat since 2003. There are two District in the Thousand Islands District of South Thousand Islands and the District of North Thousand Islands . 

South Thousand Islands subdistrict in charge of three villages namely Tidung village, village of Pari Island, and the Village of Untung Jawa Island. Sub-district of North Thousand Islands also in charge of three villages namely Village Coconut Island, Village of Hope Island, and Island Village Bake. 

Kepulauan Seribu Regency has a total population of approximately 27,041 inhabitants (2016) spread over eleven uninhabited islets. Among the eleventh island Untung Jawa Island , Island Resort , Pulau Lancang , BurnuHulvenkHashuyuk Great , BurnuHulvenkHashuyuk Small , Scout Island , Island Grill , Hope Island , Coconut Island , Coconut Island Lake, and Island Sebira . In addition to uninhabited islands, there are several islands that serve as the island, such as Angel Island , Onrust Island ,Large Kotok Island , Island Princess , Island in the Sun , Sepa , and so on. 

In this district there is also a zone of conservation in the form of a marine national park named a National Marine Park Thousand Islands (TNKS). As the area is mostly covered in water and in it there is also a conservation zone, it is not surprising when the development of the district with more emphasis on the development of marine aquaculture and tourism. These two sectors are expected to be the prime mover of development of society and Administrative District Thousand Islands region.
